A Romantic Getaway at a Country House Hotel in the (Love) Heart Of The Peak District Promises Pink Champagne and a 5 Course Dinner of Gastronomic Delights-It can only be East Lodge.

A luxury hotel in the heart of the Peak District countryside is offering a one or two night break for lovers of fine wine, sumptuous dining and of course, of each other. A Valentine's break to surprise and delight Romeos and their Juliet's is on the menu at the award winning East Lodge hotel in Rowsley.

East Lodge's hospitality team are playing cupid, creating a romantic retreat for partners in passion and a menu of mouth tingling sensations at the country house hotel so close to Chatsworth.

With just under two weeks to go, the most romantic day of the year is nearly here again and the professionals in providing unrivalled romantic occasions, welcome young lovers of all ages with open arms, pink champagne and a menu to make their guests mouth water.

Nestling amongst spectacular Derbyshire scenery, East Lodge is 'a getaway from it all' kind of hotel, a hotel set in elegantly romantic surroundings with 12 luxury bedrooms all furnished to the highest luxurious standard. A Valentine's package of perfect proportions, is an offer not to be missed they say.

'Our chefs have brought together a spectacular menu for this year's Valentine's package,' says David Hardman, owner of both East Lodge and the equally romantic country house Hotel, Callow Hall near Ashbourne. 'It will only add extra pleasure to guests enjoying this very special escape. After a complimentary pre-dinner glass of champagne, our lucky lovers will then sit down to a very romantic, five course dinner lovingly prepared by our chefs. Soaking up the splendour of our individually designed classic bedrooms and waking up to a full Derbyshire country house breakfast polishes off the perfect Valentines break away.'

Just announced by the award winning hotel, the offer promises pink champagne waiting patiently in every classic room oozing romance and a royal welcome, for those lucky enough to book in time.
The special escape is only available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 14th, 15th, 16th of February and is an advanced purchase rate that requires full payment on reservation.

'For guests enjoying Valentines evening, we have a seven course gourmet tasting menu, which also begins with complimentary pink champagne. Canapés and starters including East large home smoked Scottish salmon served with caviar and chives, roasted West coast scallops, salt celeriac with aptly named sweetheart cabbage, and Indian spiced tit bits offer a taster full of surprises,' says David. 'There is then either the choice of roasted best end of Peak District lamb or caramelised breast of Goosenargh duckling as a succulent main course.'

East Lodge is renowned in providing the most romantic of weddings, so the staff here are no strangers to creating the perfect atmosphere for those hit by Cupid's arrow. With deserts created especially for her and for him, it certainly looks like love will be in the air at the hotels award-winning restaurant with three AA rosettes.

'Our chefs are passionate about food and East Lodge was Derbyshire food and drinks award winner of restaurant of the year 2007/2008,' says David proudly. 'Not only that, but we have been runner-up in the last three years, with Westside magazine citing us as their Readers Choice Restaurant for 2011.'

It's a luxurious hotel small enough to offer unrivalled personal service, but large enough to enjoy a relaxing rural retreat. Booking into a luxurious room for two or three wonderful nights of passion is simply a phone call away, as the close knit team launch their Valentine's Day special offer.

'To be waited on and looked after in style and sophistication is our pleasure,' says David. 'Sampling the sumptuous local produce this area of the Peak District has to offer surrounded by others of a romantic nature, means pampering each other and getting away from the daily grind and to savour  each other's company for a time,' suggests David. East Lodge prides themselves on providing outstanding hospitality but also knowing when to leave their guest alone. "Here at East lodge we are welcoming, pampering and professional, but we are also very genuine, unstuffy and unassuming above all else."

The East Lodge Valentine's special accommodation offer this year is the chance to take dinner in the beautifully decorated restaurant and enjoy 2 or 3 night's bed and breakfast for a truly reasonable romantic tariff.
