Cottages

Mill Farm cottages offer you fully equipped and centrally heated accommodation. For the romantically inclined, three of our cottages contain four poster beds.

Writing in the Derbyshire Times in September 1997, John Neville described our accommodation as "the most luxurious cottages I have ever seen." Since then, we have carried out further improvements.

Weekly rates are from £110 to £218 depending on cottage and season.

Camping

Touring caravans and tents are welcome at the Mill Farm caravan site.

Local attractions

Within easy reach is the Peak District with its Dark and White Peaks, the spa town of Buxton and the popular market town of Bakewell, famous for the original Bakewell pudding.
Come rain, come shine, visitors to Barlow will have no problem in finding plenty to do during their stay.
Historic Chesterfield market and Sheffield's giant Meadowhall shopping and leisure complex are within easy reach, as are two recently opened attractions - the Millennium Galleries in central Sheffield and the Magna Centre about a mile from Meadowhall. Not to be missed is the metalwork exhibition at the Millennium Gallery, a truly stunning display of Sheffield's world famous cutlery and silverware. The Magna Centre is a gigantic indoor science and adventure park guaranteed to keep children - and mum and dad - occupied for hours.

For those who would like to see the district from the air, Dragon Helicopters, based at Sheffield City Airport, operate regular pleasure flights.
