16th century village pub and holiday cottage handy for Pennine Way and Edale Valley.
From 1st February 2010, but taking bookings now, the holiday cottage adjoining the pub is available. The cottage has two double bedrooms, both en-suite, with open plan kitchen/living room area, fridge/freezer, washing, drying facilities and large double oven. Sorry but not pet friendly.
To the rear you will find a small patio/sitting out area overlooking the spectacular Mam Tor.
In the pub you will find three attractive, snug beamed rooms each with a coal fire. Four real ales always available. The selection includes Peak Ale, Swift Nick, Bradfield Brewery Farmers Blonde, Copper Dragon Best Bitter, Copper Dragon Pippin. A good choice of house wines and malt whiskies also available.
 
The friendly pub offers fresh good home cooked food, produce locally sourced. Why not come and pay us a visit?
We welcome children in eating areas.
