Luxury B&B in the Peak District

Ashford Grange is a 5-star luxury B&B in the Peak District with superb, boutique-style luxury accommodation. Its three spacious en suite rooms and secluded gardens provide a perfect getaway from everyday life in tranquil surroundings.

Nestling on a hillside of the Derwent Valley, with views towards Riber Castle and Wensley, Ashford Grange is on the edge of the Peak District National Park. Ideally located for visiting Chatsworth House (6m) and Haddon Hall (5m), Ashford Grange is in a private road easily accessible from the A6, between Matlock (2m) and Bakewell (6m).  Completed in 2012 in reclaimed sandstone, Ashford Grange blends perfectly into the Derbyshire landscape whilst having the advantages of contemporary facilities and building techniques.  In a quiet secluded setting, it also has the advantage of being easily accessible from a main trunk road. It is truly a luxury B&B in the Peak District.

Our guest rooms are individually designed and beautifully furnished with Sanderson and coordinated fabrics.  They are extremely comfortable.  All have high quality pocket sprung beds, Egyptian cotton sheets, hypo-allergenic pillows, down & feather duvets (hypo-allergenic duvets by prior arrangement), sofas and/or arm chairs, flat screen TVs with “Freeview”, free WiFi access, hair dryers, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities, fresh flowers and  access to a wide selection of books.   The en suite shower rooms have high quality soft fluffy towels, bathrobes & slippers.  The complimentary Duck Island toiletries provide that extra touch of luxury. Just what you should expect from a luxury B&B in the Peak District.

Our high quality accommodation offers guests space to relax and enjoy a break in beautiful surroundings. Guests will experience excellent food, sourced locally where appropriate, and receive a very warm welcome including a complimentary welcome cream tea on arrival (served between 4pm and 6pm).

After a good night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast (choice of full English, lighter option or Continental), you will be well set up for a day’s exploring the stunning beauty of the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales.  There are the gentle hills and dales of the White Peak (central and southern Peak District) or, further north, there is the more dramatic landscape of the Dark Peak.  You can visit stately homes and gardens, explore our industrial heritage including the Derwent Valley Mills UNESCO World Heritage site, or shop in our beautiful market towns.  On the way, you may want to sample the gastro pubs and restaurants, many of which are in nearby villages.

Bookings are normally for a minimum of two nights, with a discount available for the third night onwards.
