Group Activities

Peak Group Activities offer frolics and fun for extended families and groups in the Peak District. The Peak District is packed with activities and things to do from outdoor pursuits, visitor attractions and leisure sports to retail therapy. Peak Group Activities offer a varied choice that will satisfy every member of the family or group, and keep them entertained day after day. During your Peak Group Activities stay you may wish to be adventurous or simply enjoy the fabulous Peak District countryside. For water sports and fishing we have Carsington Water as well as several reservoirs and rivers from which to choose. Rock climbers are attracted to the Dark Peak Edges - a string of high escarpments which flank the eastern side of the Peak District, whilst mountain bikers and walkers are spoilt for choice with thousands of miles of tracks, trails and footpaths through the breathtaking beauty of the gritstone or limestone landscape. There are rolling dales and wooded hillsides, heather-clad moorlands and a vast patchwork of fields enclosed by traditional drystone walls. Indoor Peak Group Activities can be found in the wealth of stately homes, country houses, museums and galleries, leisure centres and visitor attractions or by simply browsing around individual shops and craft centres located in quaint little villages and market towns dotted around the Peak District . Accommodation for large groups can sometimes be a problem, but listed under Peak Group Activities you will find clusters of cottages, farms with converted outbuildings, large developments and country parks, all catering for more than the usual 'sleeps 4'!
