Looking after their guests is always paramount to the Barker family, owners of Croft Farm Holiday Cottages in the glorious High Peak area of the Peak District. With accolades congratulating outstanding accommodation and personal service second to none, Judith Barker is proud of the toils and trouble her family under took in transforming the once run down barns in a glorious position in the Peak District, into stunning new holiday homes.
'We've been cut-off recently due to the incredible amounts of snow, having to use the digger each day to get out,' she says. 'Two sisters arrived on separate days, the first one without food and we provided tea and managed to get out eventually, to do some shopping for her.' Judith goes on to say, 'the snowdrifts looked absolutely amazing and being where we are, we can't begrudge the force of nature. The High Peak Trail certainly looks very different in the summer months and we can't wait for a little bit of warmth to arrive, forecast for next week.'
