Romance and fine dining have always gone hand in hand and this Valentine’s, Barkers Restaurant is the perfect place to celebrate with your loved one.
The five-course Valentine’s menu includes champagne and oysters and can be enjoyed in the stylish setting of either Nelly’s Room with its iconic pomegranate wallpaper or the subtle metallic hues of the Lincoln Room. There will also be music from a violinist.
Barkers Restaurant is the first National Trust fine dining restaurant and is located in an idyllic setting in the heart of Clumber Park. It sits within the former head gardener’s house, overlooking the walled kitchen garden. The villa has been lovingly refurbished in a classic, contemporary style. The seasonal menu uses local ingredients, with many grown in the walled kitchen garden.
There is a choice of two dates to celebrate: Saturday 11 and Tuesday 14 February, with both evenings starting at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced at £55.00 per person and bookings are now being taken for both dates.
