Fancy the river all to yourself?

Blog Posted on 13 Jun 2012

If you are in the Peak District this Summer and fancy learning the art of fly fishing then why not book yourself a days tuition with us on our Private section of River Derwent in Darley Dale. Because we own the fishing rights here, you will have this beautiful river all to yourself whilst your learn techniques for catching the wild brown trout and grayling that frequent the weedy shallows and deeper pools. You will learn specific casting techniques to enable you to fish wet flies, nymphs & dry flies in this peaceful little piece of paradise! All your tackle & waders are included as well as tea/coffee and biscuits.

Darley Dale is right on the edge of the Peak District and is set amongst beautiful countryside. Chatsworth House, Bakewell and Haddon Hall are all just a few miles away so there is plenty to so for a non-fishing guest. There are also some wonderful cosy country pubs nearby for a meal or drink after a day on the river. You can call the office to book on 01143 600 590 or visit our website.
