The Hayloft at Casterne Hall

The Hayloft is a brand new conversion in what was formally the groom’s accommodation. It has outstanding country views from all rooms across the valley and even from your bed! You are surrounded by wildlife, birdsong and absolute tranquility.

The flat is beautifully decorated with all the modern amenities you could possibly want to make your stay special and hassle free. There is full insulation and central heating and the open plan sitting room has a cosy wood burner which even on the coldest winter days keeps you toasty and warm. There is a large TV, DVD’s galore and books, games and jigsaws to keep you amused in the event of wet weather. The kitchen has everything you could want to rustle up dinner with and of course has a dishwasher. The bedroom has a very comfortable king-size bed with electric blankets and Egyptian cotton bedding. The bathroom has an elegant free standing claw footed bath with a separate power shower and luxurious towelling and bath robes

You will have this flat all to yourself and in addition have access to a private garden and a BBQ area. Parking is ample, but it should be noted that the flat is on the first floor and the outside steps might not be suitable for the elderly or infirm.

Charles and Caroline or the housekeeper will be on hand to help with all aspects of your stay from advising on the many walks from your doorstep

(Charles has published books on the subject) to providing meals or picnics if required.
