Callow Top Holiday Park was awarded regional winner, for the Heart of England area, in the Practical Motorhome Magazine Top 100 Sites Awards 2013.
They were also finalists in the Practical Caravan Magazine Top 100 Sites Awards for the sixth year running.
The awards, which were presented at the Spring Caravan & Camping Show, are voted for by guests who have stayed at the park.
The Heart of England had the second highest number of shortlisted parks in the country and was one of the mostly hotly contested areas.
“We are thrilled to have won two commendations this year” said Alan Palmer, proprietor of Callow Top. “The awards recognise that our staff provide guests with consistently high standards of service from the beginning to the end of their holiday.”
Set in 18 acres of Derbyshire countryside, Callow Top provides facilities for touring caravans and tents, and also has two holiday cottages for hire.
Over the past 38 years Alan & Jill Palmer have developed Callow Top from a single field, with one toilet and a standpipe, to the thriving family holiday park it is today. A dedicated staff of up to 70 now work at the park including three generations of the Palmer family.
