Matlock Car Parks

There are several car parks in Matlock in convenient places very near to the shops.

There are two near the Town Hall.

Town Hall Rear car park is based at Derbyshire Dales Council car park and has 69 spaces. It is open Monday to Sunday open 24 hours a day. Town Hall Frontage on Imperial Road is also open Monday to Sunday and 24 hours a day with 25 spaces and 2 disabled spaces. Both car parks are pay and display and are not covered.

The car park at Edge Fold Road has 14 spaces of which 2 are disabled. It is a free car park and is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Bank Road car park has won a safer parking award, is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day, and has 50 spaces of which 3 are for disabled. It is not covered.

Imperial Road car park has 120 car parking spaces and 5 are for disabled. It is a maximum stay of two hours, and is a pay-and-display. It has won a safer parking award, and is not covered.

Matlock Station, Station Yard, has 192 spaces of which 9 are for disabled. This is a very popular car park and gets full quite quickly, especially at weekends. It is a pay and display, not covered car park and there is space for coaches for a maximum stay of two hours, and it has extra large spaces. There are no height restrictions.

Olde English, Olde Derwent Avenue has 37 car parking spaces, 1 disabled. It is a pay-and-display, and isn't covered. It is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Spa Villas, Bakewell Road has 16 spaces, 1 disabled. It is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day and a pay and display.

Artist Corner, Dale Road is a pay and display car park with 149 spaces of which 149 are disabled. It has won a Safer Parking Award and is uncovered. Height Restrictions apply :2.3m. It is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Bakewell Road Car Park is a pay and display, and not covered and has 163 spaces, 11 disabled. It is open Monday to Sunday, 6.30 till 10 o'clock.
