Peak District Bed and Breakfast - Rockingham Lodge - Tideswell

Rockingham Lodge, a former eighteenth century inn with pleanty of character, provides high quality bed & breakfast accommodation within the charming village of Tideswell. Situated in the heart of England's famous Peak District National Park, Tideswell is a popular place of stay for walkers, cyclists, rock climbers and others who wish to enjoy the Park's beautiful scenery and many local attractions. A lovely self-catering holiday appartment is also available for hire for those wanting a longer stay in the Peaks. 

The Bed and Breakfast accommodation comprises of one double bedroom with en-suite shower, one twin bedroom with shower en-suite, one twin bedroom with a seperate private bathroom comprising WC, bath and shower. All rooms have a flat screen TV as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

There is a comfortable guest lounge with a wood burning fire, colour television and DVD player.

Full English or continetal style breakfast is included in the price and, weather permitting, can be enjoyed on a secluded courtyard leading from the breakfast room. A hearty packed lunch can be provided if ordered in advance.


The village has several pubs serving evening meals within easy walking distance. The village also has a tea room, a bakers, a butchers, a post office, a general store and two fish and chip shops within easy walking distance of the Lodge.

The Self-Catering Apartment is a fully equipped two bedroom first floor apartment sleeping 4 - 6 and offers bright spacious accommodation with both bedrooms having an en-suite shower facility. There is a well-equipped kitchen/diner and a large lounge area for you to enjoy with access to a charming patio area with outside furniture and a barbacue. This apartment is an ideal base to explore the beautiful Peak National Park.

Prices for the holiday apartment vary depending on time of year but start from as little as £220 per week. A £50 deposit within 7 days of booking will be required with balnce required 6 weeks prior to the start of the stay.
Bed and Breakfast prices start from £24 per night per person (based on two people sharing)
