Chestnut Barn - Stoney Middleton

    Chestnut Cottage Barn – self contained B&B – sleeps two plus a sofa bed and is available all year.

    This delightful one bedroom stone built barn conversion is self contained with its own separate entrance, and is located just behind Chestnut Cottage in the lovely village of Stoney Middleton. It is tastefully decorated and furnished with care. We offer the breakfast as a pack which will be provided for you on a daily basis.

    The village is in an ideal location renowned for walking, pot holing, climbing, cycling, horse riding or just relaxing and enjoying the beauties of the Peak District. From the door there are many lovely walks including over to the famous plague village of Eyam, along the banks of the River Derwent, or up picturesque Coombs Dale. Five minutes away is the ‘Monsal Trail’ and cycle hire is available here.

    Just across the road is ‘The Moon Inn’ the cosy village pub which offers excellent meals every day. Further up the road is ‘Lovers Leap Indian Restaurant’ a very popular eatery, and the excellent Toll Bar Fish and Chip shop. Local ‘Take-aways’ are available delivered from Hope Valley Pizza’s and from the Indian Restaurant.

    A short drive away is Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall for those who enjoy things historical, and for those who enjoy shopping the Market town of Bakewell and the Spa town of Buxton.

    Accomodation: Lounge, Kitchen/dining room, bedroom, shower room with wc, outside.

    Lounge: Entering through archway double patio doors you will find a homely lounge with a sofa which can be used as a double bed and two bucket chairs. There is an LCD Flat screen TV with DVD and Play Station 2 with assorted games, a sound system, and many books and games for your use.

    Kitchen /Dining Room: this is fully equipped with everything you will need for your comfort – including oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ironing board/iron, toaster and kettle. The pine farmhouse table has four chairs, and there is ample crockery, glassware and cooking equipment available.

    Bedroom: Upstairs the bedroom sleeps two and there is a pine wardrobe and chest of drawers within the room. A hair dryer is also provided and has a wall mounted flat screen TV.

    Shower room: this is located off the lounge and is fitted with a large electric shower, wash hand basin, wc and heated towel rail.

    Outside: opens onto a patio with table and chairs

    £80.00 per night for two people - £65 single occupancy. Additional person £25 per night including breakfast .
