Comfortable accommodation to suit your needs Whether it's just a weekend break or a longer holiday, being a guest at Farmcraft lets you experience the real good life. Escape to the tranquility of our garden and meadows, surrounded by cows, sheep and wildlife.
Rare breed centre Why not arrange a visit for your school, social or hobby group to meet and learn about rare breed farm animals and the wildlife of a traditional farm? We can tailor the itinerary for individual parties to ensure each gets the experience it seeks, making it a great day out for everyone, young or not so young.
Even a day visit will bring relaxation and joy. It's a fun packed learning experience. You can picnic around the pond (we have an indoor area if it's wet) and you can round off the day with delicious farmhouse cakes and snacks in the tearoom.
Traditional and rare breed meats A necessary part of preserving traditional and rare breed farm animals. Unless there is a market for their non-breeding stock few could afford to keep these animals and these unique breeds would die out, like so many have done before.
Fortunately, the meat from this livestock is of unsurpassed quality and flavour. These breeds are slow to mature and only flourish on a natural diet, with lots of fresh air and room to roam. So you can be sure that the animals have had a happy life and are not subjected to the inhumane treatment and unnatural feeds of industrial farming. If you visit us you will soon see how loved and cared for our animals are.
Now you can buy meat straight from the farm If you stay at Farmcraft you will a have a chance to savour the incredible taste of our own bacon and sausages. Once tried you probably won't want to settle for less. Now you can stock up when you leave.
Open May Day Bank Holiday 29th April - 1st May. Spring Bank Holiday 27th May - 4th June. Open throughout August and weekends in September and October. Member of National Farm Attractions Network.
