Millfields Bed and Breakfast is situated deep in the heart of the Peak District in the picturesque village of Fenny Bentley. This beautiful spacious Bed and Breakfast is a chalet bungalow standing in private grounds of just over an acre. Millfields Bed and Breakfast is approximately 2 miles north of Ashbourne, one of Derbyshire’s most popular towns. Millfield's commands superb views overlooking The Tissington Trail and Dove Dale possibly the most attractive scenery in the whole of the White Peak.
Making sure that your stay in the Peak District is comfortable Millfields offers a warm and homely reception to all guests. All of their rooms come complete with a colour flat screen TV, tea and coffee facilities and central heating. They also offer free wireless internet to all their customers. Outside there are lawned gardens with ample safe off-road parking.

They have three bedrooms:
Room 1 Upstairs double with en suite inc shower, this room offers a delightful view of the country side.
Room 2 Upstairs double with en suite inc shower / dressing room. The view from this room is superb and overlooks the Peak Park Trail and Dovedale.
Room 3 Ground floor bedroom, which can be either a twin bedroom or a king-size double with private bathroom. You will find all of their rooms of a very high standard and we will do whatever we can to make your stay as memorable as possible.
Breakfast Peak District Cuisine guarantees a true taste of the peak by ensuring that the main ingredients of our dishes are grown or locally produced in the Peak District. Free range eggs are produced here at Millfields, mushrooms are grown locally. All our sausages and bacon are produced from our local family butcher. Vegetarians / special dietery needs can be catered for, please advise us of your requirements.
LOCATION
The Peak District attracts millions of visitors every year. The Peak District can be easily accessed from Fenny Bentley. The Georgian market town of Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock and the spa town of Buxton a very close and well worth a visit. There is also the famous Buxton Opera House if you fancy taking in a show.

Ashbourne Visit the delightful town of Ashbourne, only two miles from the Millfields B&B. Ashbourne is a famous market town and has a wide range of lovely shops and tea rooms. Well worth a visit as it is so close to us.
Tissington Trail The Tissington Trail set up by the Peak National Park is a scenic route 13 miles in length, running from Ashbourne to Parsley Hay. The trail follows the old Buxton to Ashbourne railway and the rambler or rider finds himself travelling through the matchless countryside of the National Park without the interference of cars, pollution or noise.
Tissington Hall Built by Francis FitzHerbert in 1609 to replace the moated manor house, it has served as a familty home for the best part of 400 years. This history of Tissington can be traced back as far as 1086.
Haddon Hall Haddon has recently been used as the setting for the film, 'The other Boleyn girl' and open to the public. A lovely Tudor house to look around and superb grounds to boot.
Alton Towers Alton Towers is located in the neighbouring county of Staffordshire a mere 20 minute drive from Millfields B&B. Escape with the family to this fantastic world.
Dovedale Dovedale is between Mill Dale and Thorpe. The River Dove cuts prettily through Dovedale, which is extremely popular and gets quite congested on a hot summers day. The Stepping Stones are a well known and well liked natural feature of Dovedale, by children and adults alike, situated at the end of a path and with a grassy area to lie back and enjoy the scenery.
Chatsworth House Recently made famous for being the location for Pride and Predudice. A great day out for the whole family, acres of country side and a great house to explore.
Buxton & Bakewell Famous for it's healing waters, the spa town of Buxton is only a few miles away. Click here. If you have every wondered where Bakewell Puddings were invented, the beautiful town of Bakewell is also only a stones throw away.
