The Sportsman Inn is situated in the picturesque village of Hayfield at the foot of Kinder Scout. The pub is a traditional inn, offering roaring fires and a welcoming environment. We offer an extensive menu (see below) which includes pub classics and a la carte dishes, locally sourced which are all homemade and cooked to order.
The bar is fully licensed and offers a wide range of local and European ales, an extensive wine list and an impressive Whisky bar.
The beer garden is built into the surrounding rock face, making the garden very unique but also very secure for Children. The pub also welcomes well behaved dogs and have recently been recognised by the Kennel Club for this.
We also offer 5 en suite bed and breakfast rooms, made up of 3 Double rooms and 2 Twin rooms. Prices start from £50.00 per room per night and include full English breakfast.
We can also offer secure lock facilities for mountain bikes and have 2 tie up rings for horses, for riders wishing to quench their thirst after a good days trekking over the peaks.
