Whilst attached to the main house, the Garden Room is self contained with a separate entrance through French windows from the Garden and has amazing views overlooking beautiful hills and valley to Bakewell and Haddon Hall Estate. It has just been renovated and restored to an exceptionally high standard. (Sarah styles for magazines such as Country Homes and interiors and Country Life and so the Garden Room is of this ilk.)
The Accommodation comprises of a Double bedroom featuring an antique iron bed, ensuite Shower room (with large fluffy bath towels , robes and toiletries), and sitting area with television and DVD player. There are tea and coffee making facilities , a hairdryer available and books ,magazines and dvds.
When you arrive you can enjoy a cup of tea and homemade cake. In the evenings you can stroll down to Rowsley where there is an excellent choice of restaurants to chose from including East Lodge, The Peacock(Haddon estate owned) and the Grouse and Claret. In the morning enjoy a full English cooked breakfast (locally sourced ingredients) served in the French inspired Dining room with French windows onto the terrace or in the summer you can have breakfast served on the terrace overlooking the magnificent view.
A second bedroom with twin beds is available with private bathroom in the main house.
