This is an ideal base to visit local attractions such as Carsington Water, Ashbourne, and surrounding villages. Further away but only a short drive you can find Chatsworth House, Alton Towers, Blue John Mines and many more.

This is a site with fantastic views of Carsington Water, close to lots of local amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible.  Friendly atmosphere, flat fully grassed pitches clean, fresh drinking water and chemical disposal points. Based on a real working farm you can get a real taste of the country. Large un-crowded  pitches so you wont feel like you are penned in, and all this within a short walking distance of the Knockerdown Inn serving good food and beers, they have a childrens play area and a small holding with some interesting animals including Ostriches & Pigmy Goats, other local pubs include the Red Lion in Hognaston ideal for that special meal and if you like real ale this is the place to visit, Brackendale restaurant is across the road from the Knockerdown Inn and there is a nice café at the Carsington Visitor Centre. You will wake every morning looking at great views of the local countryside and Carsington Water Reservoir. Whether you are on your own, a family, group of friends or a large rally we will be able to accommodate your needs. Everyone is made welcome.

We have a large rally field available for hire over looking Carsington Water, so we an accommodate all your needs, from a large bunch of friends to a large group or organization Up to 60 pitches. All at very good rates.
