Situated in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales just 3 miles out of Matlock and within easy reach of Matlock Bath, Bakewell and Chatsworth. Lickpenny is a 16 acre site surrounded by trees and countryside with 80 available pitches. A nearby garden centre (approx 200 yards away) provides snacks and lunches and also serves breakfasts until 10.30 a.m. daily.

Each pitch is individual and surrounded by shrubs and bushes. All have 16 amp electric hook-up and are hardstanding. Generous sized pitches give ample space for a large caravan, awning and car. Many of the pitches have far reaching views across the surrounding countryside.

The site has 2 centrally heated utility blocks each providing Free showers and toilets, Disabled facilities, a laundry room and vegetable preparation/washing up room. Block one also has a child/parent room with bathing facilities.

Also available are a number of deluxe pitches each having their own water, drainage and electricity facility. These are extra large pitches and some have commanding views. There is a children's play area and large grass areas for recreation. A woodland area provides room for dog walking, etc.

We do not allow tents on site
