Surrounded by spectacular scenery near the upper end of the Dove Valley, over 1000 ft above sea level, Peak District Spa offers a refreshing change to the out of town shopping centre/industrial estate/airport complex – which is the environment in which many hotels offering conference facilities are operating.

This not only makes for great opportunities for team building using the specialist outdoor activities on the doorstep, but also assists a fresh take on your corporate issues by placing you in surroundings that will feel light years away from most of England – but is in fact geographically close to most of it.

A relaxed atmosphere is encouraged by the cosy stone buildings which feature real fires in the inn as well as under-floor heating in the restaurant. Breakfast, lunches, packed lunches, tea, coffee and snacks can all be arranged to suit your requirements using excellent local produce with the ability to cater for special dietary requirements.

The two meeting rooms available can seat 30 and 60 people respectively and are WiFi enabled.  Fax and photocopying facilities are also available.

The luxurious bedrooms include 2 accessible ground floor rooms with underfloor-heated marble floors and shower-room wet rooms ensuite, and 2 first floor rooms with oak floors luxurious bathrooms ensuite. All rooms have pollen filtered ventilation systems which are beneficial for hay fever sufferers and a light contemporary ambiance.

Ample free parking is provided on site near the conference rooms whilst the luxurious bedrooms (all with ensuites) have their own private cobbled courtyard and gardens.

Additional accommodation including holiday lodges, Yurts and Camping Pods are available about 500 metres away at Rivendale – as is a large, heated  interior space in a barn plus about 8 acres of pasture and woodland on which to enjoy team-building activities.

We are particularly suited to any events related to the environment or outdoor activities having a wide variety of plants and animals on site, including newts, bats, snakes, badgers etc  roaming the wild flower meadows, environmental ponds and fishing lake.

We have also been awarded 11 successive David Bellamy Gold Awards In recognition of our efforts to reduce our environmental impact, and our efforts to preserve and increase the biodiversity on site.
