Apple Tree Cottage, in a lovely position close to the centre of Youlgrave, sleeps up to four people, plus baby.

This beautiful cottage has been completely renovated in 2011 to an exceptionally high standard and decorated in a contemporary country style.

Apple Tree Cottage is perfect for a holiday at any time of the year and can offer so much for any visitor with close proximity to stately homes, great countryside for walking and cycling and wonderful places to visit, whether it is the Caverns of Castleton; picturesque peaks and dales or the local market towns and picturesque villages.

The cottage is ideally situated for walking, sight-seeing and exploring the Derbyshire countryside and the scenic Peak National Park with Bakewell only 5 miles away; Matlock 8 miles away; Chatsworth House 6 miles away and Haddon Hall 3 miles away.

It is an ideal starting point for a number of walks, from short strolls to an all day excursion, depending on your preference.

Three long distance footpaths pass through Youlgrave - the Alternative Pennine Way, The White Peak Way and the Limestone Way. There are also many local footpaths and bridleways for circular walks whilst also being close to the Tissington Trail and Monsal Head Trail, where bicycles can be hired.

Not far from Apple Tree Cottage you will find a Post Office/newsagent/general store and a butcher with a deli counter, both of which provide all basic provisions.

Supermarkets and a wider range of shops can be found in Bakewell (5 miles) or Matlock (8 miles).

There are three pubs in the village serving "real" ales and high quality food. There are also restaurants and take-aways readily available in both Bakewell and Matlock.

Apple Tree Cottage accommodation is all arranged at ground level, as follows:-

Living room - comprising a spacious area with flat screen TV, free view, DVD player, CD player/radio, I Pod dock and wi-fi access, along with a dining table, bed settee, easy chairs and electric radiator

Kitchen - modern and very well equipped with an oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, fridge, microwave and under floor heating.

Shower Room - has under floor heating and offers a heated towel rail along with power shower, toilet and basin.

Bedroom - Possessing of a comfortable double bed, bedside tables, dressing table with mirror, wardrobe and an electric radiator.

The cottage also has a lovely south facing terrace garden with furniture for outdoor eating plus wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, along with stunning views over Bradford Dale. It offers a perfect spot to enjoy a drink and some relaxation after a day out in the countryside. Benefiting from its own private parking, Apple Tree Cottage provide off road parking for two cars.
