Description:

http://www.peakdistrictonline.co.uk/images/4stars[1].gifSympathetically restored to its natural beauty, Ash Tree Cottage was once the “Old Wash house” and “Pigsty”. Situated on our family run dairy and sheep farm, close to the centre of the picturesque village of Hartington, gateway to the dales.

Ash Tree Cottage still maintains its natural beauty, but has been restored to suit modern day living, with many of the original features still in place….

It will appeal to all, from walkers, cyclists, families and the less mobile.

Ash Tree Cottage
The picturesque village of Hartington is a thriving “honey pot” for visitors and tourists throughout every month of the year. It has its own well dressing at the beginning of September and is home to the famous “Hartington Stilton”.

Ash Tree cottage is newly renovated from what was once the “Old Wash house” and “Pigsty” into luxury two bed-roomed accommodation.

Everything is all on one level; we have aimed to make the cottage accessible to all, from families to the less mobile.

We have kept the cottage private from the busy farmyard; it has its own garden and patio area. There’s also parking for two cars.

Nettletor Farm
Ash Tree cottage is located on Nettletor Farm, a busy family run dairy and sheep farm. Our family have farmed at Nettletor for four generations.

We farm 220 acres, milk 70 Holstein Friesians and have 200 breeding ewes. If your stay with us is in April, then you will able to witness baby lambs been born and see them playing in the field outside the cottage window.
