Welcome to Bakewell Holiday Cottages, self-catering holiday accommodation.


Ribblesdale and Hartshill are adjoining newly refurbished stone-built houses situated 10 minutes walk above the centre of Bakewell, a thriving and lively small town in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Each house sleeps 5 and both are suitable for families or groups of adults. Ribblesdale can accommodate 2 additional people by arrangement.


The houses are well-equipped, centrally-heated and furnished to a high standard but they are not equipped for the disabled. Each house has off-road parking for two cars, well laid-out gardens with patio area and secure storage for bicycles and outdoor gear.


Bakewell is the perfect base for a variety of activities, whether walking, cycling, visiting nearby stately homes (such as Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall) and other attractions, or just relaxing in wonderful peaceful surroundings. The town is full of character, with a wide range of shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants, parks and gardens and a large outdoor market every Monday, including Bank Holidays.

Hartshill and Ribblesdale are adjoining houses. Hartshill sleeps 5 and Ribblesdale sleeps 5+2. The ground floor of Ribblesdale is slightly bigger than Hartshill. Hartshill has a larger rear garden

Each house is furnished and equipped to a high standard as follows:


•    full gas central heating and instant hot water
•    Class-A double-glazing and cavity wall insulation to enhance your comfort in winter and summer
•    bedding and bed linen: all beds made up with Fogarty anti-allergy duvets and pillows
•    towels
•    washer/dryer
•    iron and ironing board
•    TV/DVD player with Freesat
•    Radio
•    Patio table and chairs.
 

Additional Options:
A cot and high chair can be made available on request for guests with small children.

Hartshill is a spacious end-terrace house with the following accommodation:

•    Kitchen - fully fitted kitchen with integrated fridge-freezer, electric oven, gas hob, microwave.


First Floor
•    Double bedroom with twin beds and large, built-in fitted wardrobe.
•    Double bedroom with double bed and large, built-in fitted wardrobe.
•    Single bedroom with chest of drawers.
•    Bathroom. Fully tiled, including bath with shower over and shaver point.


Outside
•    Front/side: Vehicular access from Yeld Road with driveway and off-road parking for two cars.
•    Rear:
•    Patio
•    Storage shed suitable for bicycles and outdoor gear.
•    Large garden with lawned area and planted borders.


Ribblesdale - Accommodation
Sleeps: 5 +2
Ribblesdale is a spacious mid-terrace house with the following accommodation:


Ground Floor
•    Entrance hall
•    Lounge
•    Dining room with French windows opening to patio. There is a sofa bed (sleeps 2 extras by arrangement).
•    Kitchen – fully fitted kitchen with integrated fridge, electric oven, gas hob, microwave.
•    Utility room with WC, washbasin, freezer and washer/dryer.

 

First Floor
•    Double bedroom with twin beds and large, built-in fitted wardrobe.
•    Double bedroom with double bed and large, built-in fitted wardrobe.
•    Single bedroom with chest of drawers.
•    Bathroom. Fully tiled, including bath with shower over and shaver point.
•    Stairs to second floor.


Outside
•    Lawned front garden.
•    Rear:
•    Vehicular access from Burton Edge with off-road parking for two cars.
•    Patio
•    Storage shed suitable for bicycles and outdoor gear.
