Peak District Cottages - Chapman Farm - Hope

Our Hope Valley holiday cottages, Vernon and Byre Cottage were completed in July 2004 and have been tastefully converted to combine olde world charm and original features with modern comfortable accommodation to make your stay relaxing and comfortable.

Both cottages have been graded 4 stars by the English Tourist Council and have full central heating with TV & DVD, radio and CD players.

Top quality linen and towels are provided.
 
Each kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge and microwave oven and cooking is by gas hob and electric oven. A laundry service can be made available on request.

Outside there is a patio area with garden furniture immediately in front of the cottages and you are welcome to make use of the farm garden.

No-smoking. Ample parking. Lock-up bicycle shed. Drying facilities. Sorry, no pets.

Vernon Cottage sleeps 4 and a cot is available on request. Downstairs there is a well equipped kitchen and a dining/ sitting room with traditional style fireplace and window seat. A staircase leads from the small hall to the first floor landing where the bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet. The twin and double bedrooms each have good storage and the linen and the furnishings have been carefully chosen to match and create a comfortable ambience.

Prices range from £350 to £450 per week and short lets can often be available in the quieter season.

Byre Cottage sleeps 2.
The ground floor has a combined kitchen, dining and living room being comfortably furnished and equipped to the same high standard as Vernon Cottage. An open staircase leads to a landing which opens on to the bathroom and double bedroom with king size double bed and a built in wardrobe. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet - all completed to a high standard.

Prices range from £250 to £350 per week and short lets may be available at short notice particularly out of high season.

Chapman Farm is an excellent base for walking or cycling, with a selection of marvellous walks and cycling routes directly from the door. We are situated on Edale Road, about 400 metres from the centre of Hope Village and a few yards from the 16th century Inn - a source of excellent beer and food.
