Cherry Holiday Cottages have four lovely cottages available in the peak district area. At Wessington, Derbyshire we have a quaint one bedroom cottage located in 25 acres of farmland. This self contained annex is a converted single storey barn at Carr Barn farm which is a 300 year old farm house. It offers superb views over the Derbyshire countryside. This is an ideal spot for walkers, and anyone looking for peace and quiet. The accommodation comprises one double bedroom, living room / kitchen with log burning stove, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, TV, video, CD player and shower room.

At Pentrich, Derbyshire we have two beautiful 300 year old cottages set in superb gardens. Pentrich is a lovely picturesque village steeped in history and an ideal base for exploring the peak district. The Pentrich revolution was the last revolution in England back in 1871 and many of the cottages like this were destroyed as they were thought to be linked with the revolutionaries. Thankfully though these cottages still stand today. In contrast to its historic past Pentrich is now a quiet pleasant little village. It has a beautiful village pub only 5 minutes walk away, where good food is served daily. Cottage 1 comprises of a dining kitchen with cooking range, lounge, conservatory, over looking the garden, two bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, bathroom and a separate w.c. Cottage 2 comprises of a kitchen, dining room, lounge, two bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, bathroom and a separate w.c. This cottage also benefits from an enclosed patio area, ideal for barbecues.

All bed linen and towels, electricity and fuel are included in the price, and there will be a welcome basket for you on your arrival. We have fly fishing available for a small fee at Carr Barn Farm for any of our cottage guests. The lake is stocked with Brown and Rainbow trout.

At South Wingfield, Derbyshire we have a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in a converted stable block looking directly at the ruins of South Wingfield Manor . This is a large ruined country mansion built in 1440 by Ralf, Lord Cromwell , treasurer of England.

The accommodation comprises of : Entrance hall with large storage cupboard,open plan living area with breakfast bar,. Double bedroom with ensuite.Twin bedroom and a family bathroom.
All bedlinen, towels,electricity and fuel is included. Sorry no pets .
