Some TESTIMONIALS

st comment: I have lost my offering to you twice already!!! So short version now. House was all we could have wanted; weaver artefacts, brilliant coal fire, lots of heaters to keep us toasty warm, excellent provision of tasty food to start us off, all manner of kitchen utensils, lovely rooms, lots of loos and great showers. would recommend it to the fit and able. Thanks. Dec 2010.

nd comment: It was very well equipped, decorated and furnished, and very clean. Oct 2010.

rd comment: Loved the extras provided by the owner and the character of the property. Sept 2010.

th comment: A really lovely, well equipped cottage. It had everything you could want in the kitchen except for a pie slice. Beautiful area and very friendly village. Aug 2010.

th comment: Well maintained property true to description. June 2010.

th comment: A remarkable historic house - most intriguing (if requiring a measure of fitness for the steep steps!) The owner was most hospitable and kind beyond words. May 2010.

th comment: Excellent location, very central for visiting Peak District, more emphasis could be made of historic link to the Arkwright Mills. Quirky furnishings were fine but too crowded for room size. Generous provisions on arrival appreciated. The garden was a bonus for a hot weather BBQ. Plenty of local brochures but needed organising. May 2010.

th comment: We stayed in a weaver’s cottage built in the 18 century which was full of character but still very comfortable, charming and warm. The beds were excellent as were the cooking and washing facilities. The owner of the property was very friendly and the first day we did not have to buy anything as there was a substantial welcome pack. She also provided all toiletries and all these touches make a big difference. May 2010.

th comment: Very homely. May 2010.

th comment: Cromford cottage has a truly rustic feel whilst being equiped with all the mod-cons to make a holiday comfortable. The attention to detail is impeccable. It was much better than we ever expected; when we arrived the coal fire was ready to light and there was fresh food in the fridge. It is excellently sited for local walking. Sept 2009.
