Situated in the ever popular Peak District and only minutes from Chatsworth and Haddon Hall is this gorgeous, luxuriously appointed Victorian cottage which  enjoys  breathtaking views over the Derwent Valley and the nostalgic restored Peak Steam Railway  from every window.

You are assured of a very warm welcome when you arrive at this lovely country retreat which has been lovingly restored and improved and now offers luxury accommodation ideally suited to two couples although each of the superb en suite bedrooms is capable of taking 1 or 2 children in addition. 

The Holmefield cottage forms part of the Holmefield Estate and offers self catering accommodation but with the added benefit of optional  breakfast and evening meals available at the Guest House which is a short stroll away. 


The accommodation comprises: Well fitted Dining Kitchen with washing machine, electric oven and gas hob and Log burning stove, cosy Living Room with beamed ceiling, original fireplace and log burning stove, French doors to verandah enjoying the magnificent views, cloakroom and w.c. 

First Floor, Delightful Large Bedroom with king size iron bed and further wrought iron day bed, beamed ceiling and en suite Bathroom with Victorian slipper bath and separate shower,  further King Size Bedroom with double sofa bed, Laura Ashley iron King size bed and a double Victorian slipper bath on a raised plinth, separate en suite shower room with large shower cubicle.
 

Outside, large south facing garden with patio and further sheltered sitting out area. 

Parking for 2 cars.

A dog is welcome by prior arrangement.
