Description:

Located amid some of Staffordshire's most beautiful countryside, Lower Micklin is set in 10 acres of grassland allowing plenty of room for children to play in safety. Quarter of a mile outside Alton village and five minutes drive from Alton Towers, Lower Micklin is also situated at the edge of the peak district and a few miles from Uttoxeter racecourse.
 
There are many other leisure facilities such as Carsington Water within easy reach.
 
All our cottages are self contained, spacious and well appointed. Each cottage has its own fully equipped kitchen area, large shower room, and lounge/dining area with colour TV and dvd player . Centrally heated and double glazed, they are warm and comfortable whatever the weather.  All towels and linen are provided. Unlike most self catering facilities, we happily accept guests for short periods allowing you to visit Alton Towers, rest overnight and move on to the next part of your holiday, or alternatively, stay a few days more and visit some of the other local places of interest.

Lower Micklin is also ideal for a winter break, being located in beautiful countryside ideal for walking.

We take great care to ensure that your cottage will be well equipped, clean and in good repair on your arrival, if anything is wrong with your cottage, please let us know and we will endeavour to correct it immediately. Our goal is for you to leave us at the end of your holiday wishing you had stayed here before, and looking forward to your next visit. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.

Cottage 1 - sleeps 8
Cottage 1 is arranged on a single floor with kitchen, sitting area and shower room. Both bedrooms contain a double bed and bedroom two also contains a set of bunks. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room making a total capacity of eight.

With wide doorways it is also suitable for wheelchair access.

Cottage 2 - sleeps 7
Cottage 2 consists of a downstairs kitchen, living area and shower room. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and second bedroom with three beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living room making a total capacity of seven.

Cottage 3 - sleeps 7
Similar to cottage 2, the ground floor consists of kitchen area, living area and shower room. Upstairs is one large room with a double bed and 3 single beds. There is also a sofa bed in the living room making a total capacity of seven.

Prices
Prices start from £98 per cottage.

Prices 2012
All prices include heating, electricity, towels and bedding.

To make a provisional booking please select your start date, number of nights and number of guests from the calendar below. We will contact you by telephone within 24 hours to confirm the booking and to take the deposit of 50% by debit or credit card.

Bookings may also be made by telephone. Please ring 01889 590119 to talk to one of us.
If a cot is required please select this from the extra menu.  There is no charge for the cot but please bring your own bedding.

No Arrivals or Departures on Saturdays.
