Description:  No.3 Mount Pleasant is a cosy holiday cottage in Cromford, Derbyshire, nestling on the edge of the Peak District.
Built in 1842, the cottage is high into the rock face overlooking Cromford, with spectacular views of the surrounding hillsides. Found via a meandering pathway, walking up to the cottage has an air of magic, whatever the season. Its part of the reason we fell in love with it.
Steeped in history, this Derbyshire holiday cottage sleeps 4 (+2). It’s the perfect self-catering get-away for walking holidays or cycling holidays, as well as those looking for an idyllic country hideaway.
The village of Cromford has all you need for the perfect holiday; as well as amazing local walks it is a stone’s throw from many local attractions such as Matlock Bath, Abraham Heights, Gullivers Kingdom, Carsington Water which are all within 5 miles. There are 3 local pubs within a 2-minute walk, (one is literally at the bottom of the pathway to the cottage), two great fish & chip shops, a local grocery store and newsagent, plus an antiques store.

No.3 Mount Pleasant holiday cottage offers the following facilities:

Well-behaved dogs are welcome, although we would ask that you bring some bedding for them and out of respect for future visitors, please keep them off the furniture.
As 3 Mount Pleasant enjoys a secluded spot overlooking the village, there is no parking available. However, there is easily available parking in the village, within one minute’s walk.
Prices
We want as many people to enjoy our holiday cottage in Cromford as possible, so offer a variety of packages for both low and high season. Prices here are for long weekends (Fri 3pm to Monday 11am) and weeks (Saturday 3pm through to Saturday 11am). However, if you are looking for a mid-week break, please get in touch – we will always do our best to accommodate you.
