Description:

This is a 200 year old quaint, cosy cottage in the Village of Crowdecote overlooking the Dove valley, it sleeps up to six people in 3 bedrooms.

Upstairs - One room with King-sized bed One room with two singles (inc TV and Video Player)

Downstairs - One room with a Double Bed.

The Cottage has been tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, whilst maintaining many of the original features. The lounge has an open fire, with views over the Dove Valley. There is a TV, DVD player, and CD/radio player. The kitchen is well equipped and has an electric oven, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine.

The views at the front of the cottage can be enjoyed at the picnic table which seats 6 comfortably. There is also a chain to secure bikes.

Crowdecote is a small village overlooking the Dove Valley in the middle of the Peak District, 6 miles south of the Spa town of Buxton, which boasts an Opera House and Gardens among its many leisure facilities.
There is a family pub/restaurant serving excellent food and a selection of real ales, just yards away. Shops, restaurants, a fish-and-chip shop, pubs and a tea room are all located in the neighbouring village of Longnor, just 1 mile away.

The cottage is ideally situated for the walkder or cyclitst, with the Tissington and High Peak trails close by, many walks can be started from outside the cottage door.
Chatsworth, Haddon Hall, Alton Towers, and the famous caves (Blue John, Speedwell and others) all lie within an easy drive.

Rates

Our rates can vary depending on national holidays etc, but as a guide the weekly rates are as follows:

High season - £490
Mid season - £380
Low season - £295
Weekend breaks from £200
