Rowan Cottage - Eyam

    Set in the middle of the beautiful and well known 'Plague village' of Eyam, Rowan cottage is an 18th Century 3 storey weaver's stone cottage. This Peak District cottage has a huge amount of character, combined with modern living standards.

    It offers quality accommodation, with pretty bedrooms and a beamed cottage lounge complete with real open log fire.

    Rowan cottage is ideal for couples, small groups and small families who would like to enjoy the beautiful Peak District for a short or longer duration.

    Rowan Cottage is located near to picturesque limestone hills, moors and the lush open countryside of the Peak District and is suited to energetic and less energetic walkers alike; walks can be done from the cottage with no need for a car.

    If walking in Derbyshire or the Peak District is not for you then Rowan Cottage is also a lovely base for a restful holiday or short break.

    Eyam village also has a general shop and newsagents, a popular pub and bakery in addition to another shop and cafes within a few hundred yards of the property.

    Rowan cottage is a short drive from Tideswell, Castleton, Bakewell and Chatsworth House amongst numerous other places. A guide within the property lists further places to see and things to do should you be short of inspiration on your holiday!

    Cosy beamed lounge with traditional open stone fireplace; spacious kitchen with separate dining area; up three steps to twin bedroom (No.1); short flight of stairs to large bathroom with toilet and electric shower; three steps to master double bedroom.
