This attractive mellow brick cottage has been renovated to the highest standards bringing together the old country character with all the modern amenities. The excellent location of the cottage makes this the ideal holiday retreat with the Pack horse Inn serving local food and The monsal Head Hotel both within easy walking distance. If you bring your horse along his/her facilities are sure to impress.
Change over day is Friday to Friday. (Changeover day can be flexible if available)

Enter the cottage from the stone flagged patio into the hall which has beautiful light oak stairs and plenty of coat hanging space.
The cosy lounge with comfortable sofas and glowing log burning stove has lovely outlook over the cottage garden a colour TV and DVD.
From the other side of the hall is the attractive dining room with oak table and chairs, open to a superbly fitted kitchen with quality oak units, Granit tops, hob, combi-oven/microwave, fridge and dishwasher. A stable door leads out to the patio and separate laundry room with freezer, automatic washer, tumble dryer and storage for bikes/boots etc.
Off the dining room is the ground floor wet room with shower and wc.
A light and classy double bedroom with far reaching views has an en-suite bathroom, bath/shower and W.C.
A twin bedroom of matching quality. Also enjoys the country views.

Location
Just outside the village of Ashford in the Water you can start your walking holiday straight form the cottage taking you across the path into little longstone and the breathtaking views over Monsal Dale. Bakewell with its meandering river weeping willows, and not forgetting the array for ducks and swans is only a 5min drive.
Local shops provide an excellent range of provisions, newspapers etc with a fish van visiting the village once a week and you can get your milk straight from the farm.
