Who requires testing?

It is reported by the Health & Safety Executive that 25% of all reportable electrical accidents involve portable appliances. Many fires are due to faulty electrical appliances.
Over a period of time equipment deteriorates through normal use and by negligence. For this reason equipment should be regularly inspected and tested for electrical safety.
All portable appliances with a mains plug need to be PAT Tested and a P.A.T. programme is the best way to achieve this.
