Peak District Food - Tiroler Stuberl Austrian Coffee Shop and Sausage Importer - Bakewell

Tiroler Stuberl the Austrian Coffee shop and Sausage Importer.
Tiroler Stuberl is a small Family Business.  We have been serving the local community as well as many visitors to Bakewell for nearly 20 years with our ever expanding range of genuine Austrian Products.

We pride ourselves on having probably the friendliest bunch of waitresses in town – so service with a smile is guaranteed.

ALL our sausages are Gluten free!

They arrive regularly from Vienna by plane so freshness is absolutely guaranteed.

Kaesekrainer – smokey with lumps of Emmental cheese, our bestsellers, simply irresistible
Puszta Wurst – coarse, spicy with peppers, garlic and paprika, Hungarian Style
Waldviertler – very dark beech wood smoked, hearty and super in casseroles or with Sauerkraut
Bratwurst – traditional Austrian recipe, much tastier than anything you can buy normally in shops
Wiener Wuerstel – lovely smokey and meaty Frankfurters with that special chutney bite
Debreciner – slightly spicy, smooth with garlic and paprika
Hot and spicy Debreciner – about 10 inches long with a good bit of heat
Knackwurst – big and chunky, all right to eat hot and cold in sandwiches or salads
Landjaeger – air dried and firm, they are ready to eat

We usually stock a large selection of Austrian soups, sauces, dumplings, sauerkraut, spaetzle, mustards, salad dressings and much more besides.

    Here is a small selection
Semmelknoedel . Kartoffelknoedel . Breadcrumbs . Jaegersauce . Knoblauchcremesuppe . Fritattensuppe . Griessnockersuppe, Eierschwammersuppe . Steinpilzsuppe . Nudelsuppe . Tins of Gulaschuppe und Leberknoedelsuppe . Sauce mix for Gulasch . Beef or Game . Jaegerschnitzel .  Zigeunerschnitzel . Gluehwein spices . Estragon and Kremser Senf . Pumpkinseed Oil, etc

We also stock Coffees from far flung places such as Papua New Guinea and El Salvador as well as the very rare and expensive genuine Jamaica Blue Mountain.

Guests can enjoy their coffees and snacks either upstairs in our coffee shop – modelled on an Austrian mountain cabin, lovingly decorated with a multitude of Austrian knick, knacks, or join our flock of resident sparrows and relax outside in our sunny courtyard.  Surrounded by flowers galore you could be forgiven to imagine yourself sunbathing in an alpine village, rather than in the centre of bustling Bakewell.  Wait-was that a cowbell I hear (its just the chef to summon that lazy waitress again - only kidding).

In the Coffee Shop we serve:
Gulasch soup, Austrian Sausage and Bean Soup all served in large bowls with bread and butter.

All our different sausages cooked to order, served the traditional way with German Mustard and bread
Toasties (probably the thickest and most juicy in town)
    Various scones and teacakes
Homebaked Apfelstrudel, Fruitcake and much besides.
13 different Teas and 17 different Coffees help you to wash it all down

Open daily from 10am to 5pm
Closed Thursday (Thursday and Friday in Winter)
