Adventure Activities The Peak District is one of the best adventure venues in the UK. Foundry Mountain Activities (FMA) have been delivering a wide range of adventure activity courses and holidays for fifteen years and we have the skills and expertise to combine activities, instruction and equipment to create a unique experience for your group.
We specialise in the delivery of personal development, key skills and team building through adventurous learning.
FMA is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority for climbing, watersports, trekking & caving.

Accommodation The centre offers 21, 31 or 52-bed units with separate bathroom, kitchen, dining and lounge facilities. Bunkrooms are arranged from 2 to 10 berth. The booking is self-catering, but we can organise fully catered visits at additional cost.
With parking for over 20 cars, drying areas, camping, games, lawns, barbeque and bonfire it is a self contained, private spot.
Located in the village of Great Hucklow, The Foundry Adventure Centre is an ideal base for group visits to the Peak District. We are close to the Hope Valley and in the heart of the Peak’s best hillwalking, rock climbing, caving and mountain biking. We are also within easy reach of Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, the show caves at Castleton, the picturesque town of Bakewell and Ladybower reservoir and dams. We are close to many fine local pubs and cafes, and the local wildlife and scenery combine to make it an outstanding destination.
Many educational, youth, family and corporate groups visit us during the week, and we are popular with families, universities, clubs and private functions at the weekends. Easter, Christmas and New Year are also very popular.
