Peak District Health - Bakewell Tae Kwon-Do - Bakewell

My name is Martin Hilton (known as George) and I have been teaching Tae Kwon-Do (TKD) now for 18yrs.

I am a registered instructor with The British Tae Kwon-Do Council, a member of the TAGB (Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain) which is a member of the BTC (British TKD council) which is supported by the Sports Council.  First Aid trained and qualified to teach first aid.

    All staff are CRB checked.

The club has over 30 members 2/3rds of which are junior students, some juniors that have progressed in TKD now train with the seniors . Ages range from 5yrs to considerably more !

While teaching TKD I am able to pass on knowledge and the benefits of training in a Martial Art. I truly believe that training in TKD can instil in a student a sense of achievement.  Learning difficult techniques, passing grading etc can lead a student gaining confidence.

The tenets of TKD are courtesy  /  integrity  /  perseverance  /  self –control  /  indomitable spirit .
TKD is fun, character building, good for fitness, self defence (not just against an aggressor but also, negative thoughts !), respect, discipline and a sense of achievement !
TKD is truly a martial art for everyone, training at your own level in your own time.

Training nights are: - Juniors: Monday: 6.30pm-7.30pm / Adults: Monday: 7.30pm, Thursday: 7.30pm
