It retains its original style and character with the discreet addition of all modern comforts; three delightful ensuite bedrooms including one super-king/twin, a king-size and one double all overlooking the pretty secluded garden and surrounding countryside. Striking views, peace and tranquillity, roaring log fires, tea in the garden or lazy drinks on the terrace and an award winning breakfast these are just some of the features which make Yew Tree Cottage a place guests return to time and again.
FACILITIES
 The Riber Wing! The Riber Suite is traditionally furnished with period furniture and has hand made soft furnishings; there is an extremely comfortable memory foam pocket sprung mattress on the super- king size or twin bed/s and for added comfort, feather pillows. The bedroom has a well stocked refreshment tray containing assorted teas, chocolate and coffee as well as complimentary bottled water and homemade orange shortbread biscuits. In addition there is an illuminated clock radio, a 20" colour television and CD and DVD player. The room has windows to the south and west providing panoramic views of the Derbyshire countryside and the Peak District National Park. The fully tiled shower room has a large, walk in, shelved and seated shower cubicle with lighting, a power shower.
The Peony Room The Peony Room is an extremely attractive, double en suite room containing hand made soft furnishings. The bed has a brand new memory foam pocket sprung mattress, down duvet and feather pillows for that extra bit of comfort. The en suite has a large fully tiled and lighted shower cubicle. A hair dryer, heated towel rail, bath robes and assorted good quality toiletries are provided too. The room contains a colour television, illuminated clock radio and a well stocked refreshment tray including complimentary bottled water and shortbread biscuits.
The Rose Room The Rose Room, standing alone at its own end of the property, is an extremely attractive, traditionally furnished, double room with a super pocket sprung mattress on a king size bed, feather pillows down duvet and hand made soft furnishings. Colour television,DVD*/ CD player, illuminated clock radio and a well stocked refreshment tray, including complimentary bottled water and homemade biscuits, are provided. The new, fully tiled luxury ensuite bath room contains both a deep bath and a large, separate shower.The well lit shower cubicle, shelved for convenience, contains an excellent power shower with a flexible hose and slide rail. Again, a hair dryer, bath robes, heated towel rail, good quality soaps and toiletries are readily available for guests' use.

Ogston Bird Club Runs on an informal basis whilst meeting the needs of bird watching right across the ornithological spectrum. Around 234 species of birds have been seen and recorded around Ogston reservoir and Carr Wood recording areas.Among the birds look out for the redstart, easily identifiable by its orange-red tail; and the lively white-chested dipper, which bobs and dashes its way along streams searching for the shallows.
