The Old Pump is situated in the lovely village of Barlow between Sheffield and Chesterfield on the borders of the Peak District in Derbyshire.

Serving the local community, The Old Pump also caters for holiday makers, walkers and cyclists, and is an ideal meeting place for families and friends to eat well, relax and take in the stunning views across the open countryside.

The restaurant has a traditional feel and is warm and welcoming.  The Old Pump offers a wide and varied choice of both traditional and contemporary food, including vegetarian and Gluten free dishes.  All the meals are freshly prepared on the premises using locally sourced produce where possible.

Lunch is served between midday and 6pm Monday to Saturday.
Evening menu is between 6pm and 9pm Monday to Saturday.
Sunday lunch - 12 noon until 7pm

Traditional beers, cask ales, guest beers and lagers are available at The Old Pump along with an extensive wine list.  The friendly bar and restaurant can be easily accessed from the large car park and disabled parking is available immediately outside the main entrance. To the side, there is a large beer garden, complete with a safe play area for children.  

Part of the bar can be set aside for disco and dancing and The Old Pump is fully licensed for music and social events.
