Description: High in the hills of the Staffordshire Moorlands, we are situated on the edge of Flash, highest village in England, yet just a few 100 yards off the A53 we are easily accessible.
Needless to say we have superb views of the surrounding countryside and the walking and riding from the farm is excellent.
An ideal base from which to explore the Peaks, Potteries and Plains of Cheshire and only 16 miles from Alton Towers.
The 4 properties of varying sizes, sleeping a total of 18 plus 2 bed settees, give great flexibility for groups of families and friends to meet up for short or long breaks.
Most of the double rooms have 'zip-link' beds that can either be two singles or a super king-size double, all bedrooms are either en-suite or have a separate bathroom.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the Apartment or the Ground Floor Old Stables, although they must not be left unaccompanied in the accommodation or allowed in the sleeping areas. A stable is usually available if owners wish to leave their dogs whilst they go out. Visitors should be aware that we do have our own friendly dogs on the farm.
Prices include bed linen, electricity and heating (all accommodation is centrally heated). Towels are available at a small extra charge.
Facilities include a TV and DVD player, kitchens are equipped with fridge, four ring cookers and microwaves, with dish-washers in the three larger properties, we are all electric.
There is also a laundry room and recreation room . Cots and high chairs are available on request. Parking is adjacent to the accommodation.
The recreation/party room can also be used as a large dining area with a banquet table to seat 16+, adjacent is a fully equipped kitchen. These facilities are ideal for larger groups and family 'get-togethers'.
Weekly lets commence on a Friday. Arrival time is from 3.30pm, departure is by 10am. Other days/times and short/long lets by arrangement.
Deposit required; Old Stables & Hayloft £60. Apartment £40. Cheques payable to 'Northfield Farm'. Debit/Credit cards are accepted, a charge of 2% is made for Credit cards.

The Old Stables - upstairs
Sleeps 4 in 2 rooms. Rooms: 1 Double en-suite, 1 Twin with shower room.
The Old Stables was our original conversion back in 1979. Two flats were made, both of which have undergone considerable refurbishment in 2002, giving them larger kitchens and en-suite bedrooms.
Upstairs there are wonderful views over the farm to the hills beyond. This property sleeps four in a double en-suite and a smaller twin room with its own shower room and separate toilet. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a living/dining room.
The Old Stables - ground floor
Sleeps 5 In 2 en-suite rooms + Bed Settee Rooms: 1 Twin Bed/Kingsize en-suite, 1 Family en-suite.
The spacious ground floor property is suitable for those in a wheel chair or with mobility problems, the en-suite double/twin room has an en-suite bathroom with facilities suitable for the disabled. Parking is immediately adjacent.
The second bedroom, also en-suite, has a double and single bed.
The large wood floored kitchen/diner is complete with a dining table to seat 8, a pair of double doors lead into the main living room.
A communal porch with the upstairs Old Stables makes this a useful combination for two families, giving them their own space but enabling the group to eat together.

The Apartment
Sleeps 2 in 1 room. Rooms: 1Twin Bed/Kingsize ensuite.
The apartment is a warm, quiet hideaway for 2. It is upstairs and has superb views. There is a super king size/twin en-suite bedroom and a cosy living/dining area with a well-equipped kitchen area.
The Hayloft
Sleeps 7 in 3 rooms + double bed settee. Rooms: 1 Double en-suite, 1 room with three single beds.1 Twinbed/Kingsize en-suite, Double Bed Settee.
The Hayloft is on the first floor and has 3 bedrooms, one double en-suite, a super king size double, this can be made into a twin if required, again en-suite with bath and shower over head, the third bedroom with 3 single beds has a separate shower room. The Hayloft also has a fully equipped kitchen, dining room and separate living room with fantastic views over open countryside. This accommodation is non-smoking.
