Approached by a long gravelled driveway and surrounded by ancient trees, The LittleVicarage Holiday Cottage & The Old Vicarage Country House Bed and Breakfast, originally part of the Chatsworth Estate in 1842, is the most peaceful and idyllic location for a wonderful holiday. Set in over an acre of secluded gardens and nestled in the hills above the Dovedale and Manifold valleys in the heart of the Peak District National Park Derbyshire, we are the perfect location for exploring this beautiful area.

With mile upon mile of unspoilt countryside and with dozens of walks and cycle routes straight from the door you won’t be short of things to do. Many of our guests tell us we have created a wonderfully relaxed and warm atmosphere where you can truly make yourself at home, put your feet up, and really unwind in the peace and beauty of this magnificent countryside.

Whatever your interests, The Peak District National Park has something for everyone. Majestic hills, flower-filled valleys, rolling countryside, sparkling rivers, endless views to take your breath away and pretty stone villages hidden away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. We are ideally located for the Manifold, Tissington and High Peak trails as well as the Dovedale and Manifold valley walks. We are also within easy reach of the famous stately homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall as well as the bustling market towns of Ashbourne, Bakewell, Matlock and Buxton – not to mention (for the less fainthearted) the thrills of Alton Towers!
 

Only 2 minutes stroll from the house we have a great village pub, where Janet and Brian will be happy to serve you from a superb selection of real ales and where you can enjoy a hearty meal from a real country pub menu by a roaring fire. Simply unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this perfect retreat in the pretty limestone village of Wetton. And don’t worry! For those who need to access the 'outside world' we also offer FREE WIFI.  For larger groups we also offer Bed and Breakfast accommodation sleeping 8.
 

The Little Vicarage is a beautifully renovated luxury holiday cottage full of character and charm and retaining many original features.  Lovingly restored throughout by local craftsmen to an exceptionally high standard, including hand-made solid oak features and staircase as well as granite worktops and all the mod cons, no detail has been overlooked in making this a truly wonderful place to stay.

This spacious contemporary self-catering cottage over two floors, sleeps a maximum of four people. We have one fantastic Super king size bedroom (which can be split into 2 single beds on request) and a lovely double bedroom, as well as a luxury bathroom. All our rooms have views over the landscaped gardens and hills beyond. The door to the rear of the cottage opens out onto your own private patio and BBQ area overlooking the lawns and landscaped gardens (once the village tennis courts!).  For those wishing to be really spoilt, why not take advantage and join our B&B guests for breakfast or order a packed lunch? Our prices include all heating and electricity, cosy duvets, crisp fresh linen and fluffy towels. For bookings direct with us we also include fresh flowers in the cottage, toiletries and for stays of one week or more we also include a luxury hamper including freshly baked home made bread, cake and organic home made jam!
