Archery Events is based in the Staffordshire Moorlands on the edge of the Peak District and supplies archery experiences to clients from all over the Midlands including, Staffordshire, South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.

With immediate access to the Peak District, and some of the most spectacular scenery and venues in the country, Archery Events deliver more than just archery - each shoot is a unique experience.

Run by Pete March, we are a long established small business providing archery for educational, corporate training, team-building and fun family or social events. We offer a flexible approach and are not restricted to one site.



We shoot at venues all over the country and provide a venue finding service, if you do not have facilities available. These sites can be anything from a cricket pitch on the village green to a lawn on a country-house estate.

Archery is one of Britain's oldest target sports. As long ago as 1415, at the battle of Agincourt, British longbow archers shot 1,000 arrows per second into the air giving the French nowhere to run. A resounding victory, albeit largely down the skills and accuracy of the Welsh longbow men from Monmouth!

Today, we can enjoy archery in a more leisurely manner. Archery can be used as a team skill, individual challenge, or as a coaching tool and is adaptable for corporate uses, development training and education. At schools and sports academies, where we can run six or more progressive sessions, we implement the new FITA awards. These are entry level awards that develop your personal skills to the level of a competent archer.

At every shoot, bronze, silver and gold medals and prizes are awarded for the top three archers!
