We are a luxury wedding and events venue in Derbyshire situated on the edge of the Peak District national park.
Guest accommodation is also offered on a bed and breakfast basis and here at Shottle Hall we have been awarded 5 stars by the AA. Our stunning venue forms part of the famous and exquisite Chatsworth House Estate, the jewel in the Derbyshire Crown.
Weddings
We believe that every marriage should be treated as a unique celebration which is why we have 2 very special and unique venues that can be hired individually or together as part of our Estate package.
Whether you are dreaming of a smaller intimate affair or a more lavish Wedding celebration we can help make your dreams come true. Shottle Hall itself is an idyllic English country house with stunning views over the Derbyshire countryside and 8 individually designed bedrooms. The Orangery restaurant can cater for approximately 80 guests for the wedding breakfast and 150 for an evening celebration. The Coach House Marquee blends a traditional stone built Victorian coach house with a state of the art luxury marquee. It has its own stylish bar and lounge area and a decked patio leading to the romantic outside ceremony pavilion. The marquee can accommodate approximately 150 guests for the wedding breakfast and 250 for an evening celebration. Both Venues are fully licensed for civil ceremonies and have picturesque views over the Ecclesbourne Valley.

Here at Shottle Hall we can cater for all your business needs with our corporate events team offering a personal professional service. Set in 14 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland Shottle Hall is the ideal venue for a range of corporate activities and team building exercises including:

* 4x4 off road driving
We can arrange other off site team building activities in conjunction with our corporate suppliers. With a selection of rooms & facilities we can host small private meetings for 2 people up to large presentations for 300 delegates.

Special Occasions
Shottle Hall and the Coach House Marquee are both fantastic venues for any celebration. With our beautiful surroundings and dedicated Events team we will ensure that we make your special occasion extra special.
We can cater for all types of events ranging from birthdays, anniversaries, theme nights, charity balls, School Proms, naming ceremonies and christening parties as well as other family gatherings.
Rooms in the Hall can be hired exclusively for your celebration from 16 – 80 people. 8 individually designed bedrooms are also available at reduced rates.
For larger private parties, Balls or Proms our luxury Coach House Marquee can be hired to cater for up to 250 people.

Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
We offer traditional Bed & Breakfast accommodation in a luxury setting. We have been awarded 5 stars for our Guest Accommodation by the AA. If you are looking for a mid-week break, romantic get-away or somewhere to stay while traveling on business, we have rooms that will make your stay here in Derbyshire very relaxing. We offer a high quality full English breakfast that you would expect from staying at such an iconic Peak District venue.
We have eight luxurious bedrooms all individually styled by local artist and interior designer Adam Walkden his eye for detail and creative flair has produced some of the finest hotel rooms in Derbyshire.
