Pubs In Chesterfield

The bustling market town of Chesterfield with its symbolic crooked spire church, thriving shopping area and leafy suburbs has long been a favourite place for people to stop and get some refreshment as they travel around the Peak District. It is a good base, where you can get some maps and ideas on places of interest nearby from the Tourist Information Centre housed in part of an old pub and try some of the local ales and food. As one of the largest towns on the edge of the Peak District, and the largest settlement in Derbyshire, Chesterfield is also popular with locals looking for a night out in one of the many town centre pubs. Pubs in Chesterfield are incredibly varied so whether you are looking for a gastro pub where you can get something to eat or a traditional ale-house in a Medieval street where beer has been served for centuries you won’t be disappointed. Pubs in Chesterfield can also be found on the outskirts as the town  is only a few minutes’ drive from some of the finest countryside and country pubs in the whole of the Peak District.
