Pure Outdoor is a professional, independent provider of high quality courses, experiences and guiding in the outdoors.

We have provided NNAS Navigation Courses, Winter Skills, Rock Climbing Courses, Mountaineering and Scrambling courses since 2005. We are based in Sheffield, near the Peak District and run courses country-wide.

The aim is to provide high quality, low instructor/client ratio courses which are accessible to all. This has been achieved by keeping the whole operation small. 

We welcome a lot of our work from returning customers year after year and we think by building friendly relationships with our clients we can keep our 100% happy customer quota. If you like the course, maybe you will come on another one. If you don't like the style in which it is carried out - let us know and we can change things. We like to keep things casual and flexible, this is reflected in the relaxed nature of all courses offered here at Pure Outdoor.

Right Way in a Day :: Our ever popular Navigation Courses are the key to a good day out in the Peak District, learn new skills and enjoy a great guided day out.

Navigation :: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Qualify under the NNAS scheme.

Climbing :: Taster Days, Beginner Weekends, Multi Pitch Climbing, Learn to Lead, Self Rescue and SPA Refresher courses.

Scrambling :: Classic Scrambles in North Wales, Scotland and the Lakes.

Summer Hillwalking :: Mountain Leader preparation and refresher courses, introduction to hillwalking.

Guiding :: For those of you who have specific aspirations or require a tailor made service.

Winter Hillwalking :: Winter weekends and week long courses based in Scotland. Hone those ice axe and crampon skills.
