Footstools+ bring their bespoke products to Rowsley’s Peak Village
Footstools+ have chosen their local shopping centre in the Peak District to open their new workshop and showroom. Opening their doors to the public in mid August, Footstools+ have brought their range of bespoke footstools, ottomans, boxes and upholstery services to Rowsley’s Peak Village shopping centre.
A local family business, Footstools+ was founded by Matthew Haynes. With over fifteen years’ experience, Matthew is now working alongside his son Josh, who is also studying at Derby University. Outgrowing their current, small premises at Caudwell’s Mill in Rowsley, Footstools+ made the decision to expand to the popular, nearby Peak Village shopping centre.
Footstools+ promises to offer great choice and value in bespoke footstools, ottomans, bedroom stools, linen boxes and much more. From the Peak Village showroom, customers are able to customise their products, choosing the size, shape, legs and fabric of their box or stool to create the perfect, handcrafted product, created on site. With fast turnaround, Matthew and Josh also promise better value, quality and lead times than on the web.
Matthew Haynes and his son Josh are delighted to be able to expand their offering in their new larger premises. “We are really excited to have made this move and to be able to offer more choice to customers. We have a simple product, well made at an affordable price and have had a great customer response in the short time since opening.” said Matthew of Footstools+.
“It’s always nice to be hearing of local businesses doing so well and looking to expand in to Peak Village,” said Richard Taylor of Peak Village. “Footstools+ with their onsite workshop and bespoke products will bring something new to the centre. We are getting a good mix of retailers in the centre, including some national names and independent local businesses making it a great day out for shoppers.”
Peak Village continues to offer all the latest fashions and leading labels at discount prices. Peak Village is home to nearly 20 retailers including national names like Cotton Traders, Leading Labels, Ponden Mill, Paver Shoes and Edinburgh Woollen Mill. The shopping centre attracts 750,000 visitors a year and offers visitors the opportunity to combine shopping with other local attractions.
