Roslyn House

    Roslyn is a stunning, spacious 5 bedroomed residence which occupies a prominent position within the stunning Peak District National Park. Enjoying direct access to some of the finest walking The Peaks has to offer from right outside the door. Perfectly located within a mile (easy walking distance) of the famous market town of Bakewell and a short walk through fields by the meandering River Wye to the picture postcard village of Ashford in the Water which is served by two well respected pubs, The Bulls Head & The Ashford Arms. Conveniently located and set back from the Bakewell to Buxton road, Roslyn was sympathetically built in 2009 by a local builder using local Birchover stone and has benefited from a recent redecoration throughout in a modern style which has created a large, light and extremely luxurious house, with an eclectic mix and a special blend of contemporary furnishings.


    Accommodation description


    Bedrooms:

    All of the 5 bedrooms are spacious and have comfortable large beds that can be double or twins. High quality linen and towels provided. Sofa bed can provide extra space for a further two guests if required


    Bathrooms:

    Master Bedroom has a large en suite wet-room with Travertine tiled walls and marble mosaic tiled floor. Bedroom 2, en suite shower room. Main bathroom with marble tiling and a large oval bath with shower attachment. All bathrooms have heated towel rails.


    Kitchen:

    A superb dining kitchen fitted with steamed beech units and granite work surfaces. It is fully stocked with all the equipment you need - dishwasher, American style fridge freezer with ice maker, microwave, Range master stove with hob and double oven.


    Living Rooms:

    Beautifully decorated a sophisticated 22ft lounge which provides masses of comfortable space for guests to relax in. With the warmth of the solid oak flooring, substantial stone open fire place allowing for an open fire and quality LCD TV and sound system


    Other:

    In addition to the dining kitchen, you can enjoy dining together in the separate dining room with a large table and seating that can accommodate all guests together. Another TV room/sitting room, again equipped with a quality LCD TV and sofa bed.

    Outside For alfresco dining, you can step out through the double French doors from either the dining kitchen or lounge onto an elevated decked terrace with contemporary glass screening to provide outdoor seating and views to the rear over looking the enclosed garden and woodland beyond. To the rear is a mature garden with lawn and flowering borders. Tucked away in the corner is a further decked area with outside seating (in addition to the terrace) and BBQ facilities (please bring your own BBQ fuel) . To the side of the house is an another grassed area with garden seating. Secure storage under house provides a lockable cellar with space for up to 10 bikes. To the front is a driveway with private parking for 4 cars.
