Our brand new photography website portrays the people and the places, the animals and the atmosphere; we celebrate the essence and the escapism of the Peak District, in all its magnificent full glory. We depict the true inner beauty of what we think is the most glorious part of our country - the very Glorious Peak District of course!
The beauty and spirit of this area can certainly be talked about with awe and wonder, written about with eloquence and poetry, and we can share in our own unique way, through our photography skills grown through passion, as well as play. We have photographed the landscapes that make up the Dark and White Peak, what the glorious peaks and dales look like at times when the tourists depart for the day. In the dawn mists of autumn and at Twilight during the spring, in the height of a balmy summer and in the depths of raging winter, we have been there recording for posterity, a truly remarkable land.
We're biased, it's true, having lived and worked here most of our lives - and we're bringing our children up here too, and hopefully generations after that, we love it so. We adore what we do, having set up the UK's largest holiday accommodation directory, Peak District Online seven years before. Each and every day we're privileged to work with Peak District people, business owners, residents and visitors alike. We learn about new parts of the Peak District we didn't know existed and we film what we find out.
We bring to you our gifts and our treasures, photographs we have taken over the years to inspire and delight, to cajole and to coax you into loving this area as much as we do. We've scoured every unique village, capturing on camera the individuality, the customs and the history, the architecture, the atmosphere, the wildlife and the people who live and work here - and we've only just begun. 1000's more images will be added and we will grow and grow. We get behind the usual millstone images, those iconic landmarks which get their photographs taken every day - we delve deeper and we search beyond the typical. We bring to you the very heart and soul of the Peak District to use as you see fit, to download and to share, to purchase or to borrow. Our aim is to spread the word on a not so secret place, but to bring to you more secrets - you may never have dreamt or heard of before.
