Darfar is a converted Grade II listed limestone mill building dating from the late 18th century, with some impressive roof beams, exposed wood, stone ground floor and wood burning stove. The cottage sits on the north bank of the River Manifold at Wetton Mill in the Peak District National Park. There are wooden floors throughout the top floor, with a large twin room with en suite bathroom, double bedroom and separate bathroom. There is a small shared garden (unfenced) close to the River Manifold for unwinding and relaxing. Darfar is an excellent place to stay for people who want a holiday filled with fresh air, outdoor activities and socialising. There are outstanding walks and a hard surface cycle way close at hand, together with abundant wildlife and freshwater fishing. The world famous Dovedale valley is only a short drive away.
Ground Floor: entrance porch, step up to large open plan sitting/dining room with multi-fuel stove and kitchen. First Floor: two bedrooms (1 double and space for cot, 1 twin with en-suite shower) and bathroom with shower over bath.
