  • Situated in the Peak District National Park just of the A624 road between Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith, the delightful inn offers all the modern amenities whilst retaining its old world charm (circ, 1575).  Based in the heart of the village, it is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists, event guests such a local weddings and just as a relaxing retreat.

     

    Hayfield is situated at the gateway to Kinder Scout, the highest Peak in the district.  A great base to walk or cycle to Edale, Mon Torr and the surrounding areas.  The historic Chatsworths House and Lyme Park are within easy reach and Manchester and Sheffield are equally accessible for shopping or just a great day/night out.

     

    Rooms & Services
    The Hotel has 9 rooms, a family room, superior doubles, a 4 poster bed room for the romantics, well appointed doubles and 3 twin rooms.  All rooms are en-suite with large TVs and complimentary tea/coffee facilities.

     

    A full Breakfast is served at a relaxed time of 815am until 10am, 7 days a week.  Continental breakfast is available earlier by request.   If you require a packed lunch for your walk or onward journey just let us know.

     

    A full menu is served all day from noon until 9pm, 7 days a week, along side our specials board and a Roast on Sunday.

     

    Our award winning bar offers a wide selection of drinks including  4 Cask Ales and a Real Cider.  A regular in CAMRA Good Beer Guide and accredited with the Cask Marque.
