Millie’s Bed & Breakfast is situated in Hayfield, a picturesque village at the foot of Kinder Scout. The attractive stone built building dating back to 1858 is in the heart of the village above Millie’s Tea Rooms & Chocolatier and near to several village shops and galleries. St Matthews church and the village cricket ground complete this pretty setting. Whilst the village is a busy place during the day, it is relaxing to take a stroll near the river in the evening and visit local pubs providing bar snacks.

Millie’s B&B has four en-suite rooms to offer, 2 doubles, a twin and a single. All are tastefully decorated and have flat screen TV, Tea & Coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. There are percale sheets and attractive duvets with Egyptian cotton towels. The double rooms have baths with shower over and the twin and single have large corner showers. Free Wifi is available. Please ask us if you prefer a jug of milk for your hot drinks, cartons are of course provided.

A travel cot with mattress and sheets and a high chair is available.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, please let us know if you need a dog bed, bowl and towels.

Whilst we like to welcome our guests personally, we have a code operated front door and key safes for those arriving late.

 A cold breakfast of cereal and pastries can be provided on request if you need to leave very early. The tariff is seasonal with a reduced rate from October to March (except Christmas and New Year week) and for midweek nights (Monday – Thursday).

We can provide a packed lunch for your day trip or hike, please let us know the night before or early in the morning. If you are staying locally for the day a 10% discount applies to all food, drink or hand-made chocolates purchased in Millie’s Tea Rooms & Chocolatier.
